NOrthern Ballet Theatre visit
The superb Northern Ballet Theatre performed Wuthering Heights in the Grand Opera House, Belfast, 2-6 June. Lots of activities took place at the GOH and Baby Grand.

 

Teachers take part in dublin course
On 1st March this year teachers from the school took part in an excellent course in Dublin on the Character Dance section of the RAD syllabus for Grades 5, 6 and 7. This course was led by Pauline Withers from the Academy.

 

New work launched in london
On 3rd and 4th January teachers from the Ballet School attended the Members Conference in London's Mermaid Theatre where the exciting new work was launched. The following day the faculty who created the new Pre Primary in Dance and Primary in Dance taught the Delegates the work. Three classes at the Ballet school are at present working on this wonderful new work.

 

 

 

    
       

News from 2008...


T.O.A.S.T. TV show appearance
On Saturday 20th September pupils travelled to Dublin to take part in a new RTE Two game show called T.O.A.S.T.!

 

27th N. I. Summer Ballet School
This is organised by R.A.D. Teachers in Northern Ireland and took place from Tuesday 12th - Saturday 16th August 2008.

 

Workshop with N. B. T.
On Saturday 5th April students from Grades 3, 4 and 5 participated in this workshop with the Northern Ballet Theatre in the Grand Opera House, Belfast.
